HAPPY HALLOWEEN!! I absolutely must say, Halloween is definitely one of my favorite Holidays, from eerie haunted houses & enthusiastic cheerful trick-or-treaters, to the loud frightening sounds of chainsaws, rattling bones, warewolves howling hungrily at the full moon!! My family was always extremely into this wonderful holiday, which is why I hope to continue this trend, although I made a little "Boo Boo" in assuming that 12 large bags of reeces cups, snickers, twix, nerds, & kit-kats (gime' a break!! get it??) would certainly be more than enough to feed all the happy little children running excitedly through my bustling neighborhood, but I was wrong...It was merely 4:00 Pm when Jon rushed off in a friendzy to reload our gigantic candy bowl!! Next year, we'll be prepared with 20+ bags!! Or, we'll simply lock all our doors, turn off all the lights, & hide upstaires all night!! Now, we're off to Halloween Dinner @ Mom's. Have a frightfully terrorific & Bootiful Evening of frivolous fun & laughter!!

Feeling Blue?

Don't be sad!! Here's your mini collection of beautiful blue rooms to help you cheer up this wonderful morning!! I found them all quite inspiring, & have slowly but surely added several shades of blue to my home - turquoise, aqua, teal, baby blue, you get the idea!! Blue is so fresh & motivating!! Love it!! Hope you're inspired by the freshness & vitality of these lovely photos as well!! Have an awesome day!!
Here are a couple photos of my own "Blue Room" as well as my guest bathroom vanity, which was an oak vanity that I spruced up, painted teal, added knobs & pulls, & decorated w/beautiful "Fleur de lis" Uppercase Living Vinyl appliques!!

PINK IS THE NEW...PINK!!Today was definitely, without a doubt, memorable! Once again, we celebrated "Pink Day", which has become an annual holiday at my middle school, Reminding us of those who has been affected by breast cancer, which basically includes everyone, because in some way, shape, or form, we all know someone who's life has been changed or lost due to this horrible disease. "Pink Day" represents strength, perseverance, & courage of human kind fighting against this terrible disease, while our hopeful search for the cure for cancer continues!! Everyone...and I mean EVERYONE - Students, Staff, Parents, News Broadcasters, list goes on and on, sports pink in ways never thought of before, on clothing, in hair (real, spray painted, or fake), in the classroom and lunchroom. There are sometimes even surprise visitations from characters such as The Pink Panther, Dr. Seuss's Cat in The Hat, and even Pink Elvis, with whom I was lucky enough to get my picture taken. Honestly, It wouldn't surprise me at all if next year, Santa Claus were to show up dressed entirely in Pink, along with a magenta sleigh and nine pink-nosed reindeer! And who could forget the multitudes of Christmas Gifts wrapped in various shades of, you guessed it - Pink!! All in all, this annual event raises a great deal of awareness and most importantly, our school is able to raise $ through merchandise and donations etc that all go towards finding a cure for cancer. Well, there you have it, Pink is the new...Pink!!
This week, my wonderful students are Presenting their Creativity Projects, which turned out awesome!! Here is a sneak peek of some of the posters that were created!!

Now, don't you fink I know the difference between my bruvver Stanly & a stuffed bunny??
After attempting to hold a conversation with this metro-sexual long-eared fellow, "Meow?? Meow!!" no response, I realized I'd been tricked!! This ain't nobody's bruvver!!
Do my thighs look too fat to you?? (I just can't get myself look at the results)
Amy : Jon, have you seen my purse?? I seemed to have misplaced it.
Well, Jon & I have completely grown soft, & fell in love with our lil' fuzzball friendz found under the Hosta, & have mutually decided to keep one of them, while Stanly Logan has been placed in a wonderful new home with a fantastic new family that will love his energetic fun-loving, but quirky personality!! (The choir director @ Jon's school adopted Stanly!!) I was slightly worried about his twin sister's ability to adjust to her role as "thee kitten" of the house, but with all the extra huggs, kissies, & attention, & her new favorite place, my lap, she's doing considerably well, although she's had to settle for a life-sized stuffed animal to play with. (life-sized for her is 6 inches long) The pictures displayed above are selections from the kittens last couple of days together as well as a few comical poses!! Enjoy!!

Well, we've all (the kittens...& us) managed to survive one week together!! So far, Jon & I have been successfully raising & taking care of the adorably beautiful kittens, who are extremely joyful & wonderful, but do require a great deal of attention. I've been feeding them every day since last Sunday @ 6:30 AM (4:30 PM, + evening snack). Who would have guessed that not a minute after 6:30 this lovely morning, these young little chaps were wildly & persistently meowing for their early morning meal consisting of formula mixed w/wet food - Yummy indeed!! They were completely in Emergency mode as in "If we don't have our breakfast now, we're going to knock down the bathroom door, ransack the pantry & refrigerator till there's nothing left but a couple morsels!! In response, I of course stated firmly to myself "C'mon Ame!! Getchur butt outa bed & happily fullfill your exciting responsibility of mommy!! Both, Cecelia & Stanly are asleep next to my computer chair as I update my Cute cuddly Kitten saga!! Thank goodness!! I spoke too soon!! A single meow & they're both awake, alert, & mischievous - Ready for their Saturday afternoon Adventure sequence!!
The adorable photo below reminds me of Simba; "Oh I Just can't wait to be king!! Hakuna Matata, what a wonderful phrase!!"Like feet much??
