Wonderful week 32, and a Merry Christmas to you!!

I'm exceedingly thrilled to be a pregnant woman well into her 3rd tri-mester!! Where has the time gone?! Jon and I have enthusiastically embarked on yet another adventurous and thrilling week of pregnancy, week 32!! By thrilling, I mean "interesting" back aches, periodically swollen hands, breathlessness, and an exceedingly active baby who's training for an olympic sport (can't tell which one yet) But all leading us to an amazing and highly anticipated result - well worth the most exhausting struggle if you ask any mom.
We're definitely up to date with our birthing classes, which we just finished a couple of weeks ago, our baby registry, which we tweaked and finalized last week, and our vintage whimsical nursery design, for which all we need is either a ginormous "C" over the baby's crib, or a quirky Uppercase Living quote, which (I'm arriving at the realization) may be a little less dangerous than hanging a humungous wooden or even cloth letter directly above our sweet child's fragile head.
We just can't believe how close it's getting and as exciting and thrilling as it is, I'm trying not to rush through this pregnancy because it's such an incredibly wonderful and precious time, and so many people have told me "You'll miss being pregnant." Lately Jon and I have been extremely busy with concert performances, field trips, lessons, school in general, Christmas shopping etc...and planning for baby has been thrown on the back burner, so I'm looking quite forward to next week, Christmas Break, during which we can enjoy time spent with family and friends, and take advantage of a little rest and relaxation, while focusing on the things we're thankful for and how blessed we are, especially after the horrific tragedy that occurred this passed week, which I've been dwelling on for a couple days.
Some times we forget to focus on what's real, what's in front of us, the amazing relationships we have, the awesome people in our lives, and all the splendid blessings that God grants us with every single day. It's becoming more and more difficult to maintain our faith, hope, and optimism with all these terrible tragedies occurring. Lately, I've been trying to make it a point to notice and recognize little miracles going on around us all the time as well as the multitudes of things that I should be thankful for, despite all the disappointment and sadness that's been lurking around...and maintain a positive smile no matter what!!
Whoops, I accidentally caught Cece executing a yoga pose!!!! Since I haven't posted many Holiday pictures, here are a couple...I'm attempting to decorate extra vintage this year!!
Merry Christmas to All!! Have an amazing Holiday!!
Stay tuned for a little Christmas House tour I'm hoping to put together by the end of the week...
