Wonderful Whimsical Winter Adventures!! Clara's Holiday/Birthday/Family Photo Shoot

Hope everyone had an extraordinarily fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to a fabulous New Year! I've been planning to create a Holiday blog post for weeks, but this Holiday season has been uber busy!  That said, this morning I'm going to quickly blog about Clara's photo session that took place about a month ago, then I'm hoping to blog again before the winter break is over about Christmas and resolutions...(resolutions is always a high-pressure and sticky subject for me...but I love making and giving it my absolute best attempt to follow them!)

Jon and I had been planning to schedule a Seasonal/Holiday/Family/Birthday photo shoot for a while. Tanya, the wonderful photographer who had done Clara's newborn photos, did an outstanding job with them (newborn photos), and we knew we wanted to book another session with her around/before Clara's 1st birthday. Two weeks ago, Tanya came over and we had a fabulous time creatively capturing lotsa "Clara-ness" even if things got a little...messy!

About 3 weeks or so ago, we received the photos and absolutely love how they came out, and I decided to blog about how amazing of a job Tanya did, (not to mention how moody photogenic Clara was of course!) When it comes to family photos, there are numerous directions to go in...but I absolutely love a gorgeous outdoor autumn or beautiful wintery setting, and in this case, it wasn't extremely cold out so we were fortunately able to capture many great shots outside! Here are a couple...or more than a couple :

 

Gotta dig the coral colored owl socks that are literally drooping off her feet!

In this next photo, Clara is making a face similar to Bruno Jenkins from the movie "Witches" during the scene where he's being transformed into a mouse.

The next grouping of photos are more seasonal and couldn't have come out better - I'm in love with them all but I'll just select a few to display in this post.

Last, but certainly not least, her awesome drama and 1st birthday photos! These are incredibly sweet!

Jon and I are extremely thrilled about the way they came out and love every one!!
