I love all things creative and artsy, including design, music, dance, art, scrapbooking, you name it!! I decided to commence this blog in order to create a fun and creative on-line journal showcasing the exciting adventurous journey of the Botbyl family, and in order to keep in touch with and hopefully inspire other individuals, like myself who love to share a wonderful life's design consisting of love of family, friends, and creative living!! Please leave me a message/comment if you decide to visit my blog, or add yourself to my list of "followers" so that I can visit your awesome blog or Facebook!! Clara's Girly Shabby Chic French Big Girl Room Updates!

Good Morning & Happy Friday! I'm literally astounded by how incredibly fast these wonderful summer weeks are flying by - Can you believe we're nearing September? Let's just keep our mind off that right now!

On to Clara's little bedroom update, which I've been working on here and there...and still planning to make progress on in the next week if I'm still intact, that is! I will just post a gallery of newly updated photos that I took yesterday so that you can see the progress. Clara has been sleeping in her "Na bed" for about a month now and is absolutely loving it so far, although it always takes her about 10 minutes, give or take depending on how exhausted she is, to become acclimated to her new room when we attempt to put her to bed every evening.

Here's Clara's Girly Shabby Chic French Big girl room:
There are still a couple of updates I'd like to make, a few odds and ends I'd like to tie up in Clara's room before Baby boy arrives, such as painting some frames white, a new shabby chic rocking chair, for which I'll purchase or make a chair pad, new knobs on a couple of her dresser drawers, a few of which I've already replaced with some adorable antique-style butterfly knobs from Hobby Lobby, and I purchased this adorable wooden "C" from Kirkland's, which I'm planning to hang above her bed from a large antique knob that I'm searching for. Here's Clara holding the "C"!! She can't wait for me to hang it and keeps pointing at it lovingly!
Thank you so much for joining us this morning!! We definitely enjoyed sharing our new big girl room project with you! God Bless and have a fabulous weekend! Thanks again!
