About Me

My photo
Greetings Friends, Family, Fellow Blogging Community!! I'm a 30-something year old music teacher and enthusiastic self-taught decorator, who loves to spend time with my tremendously talented and handsome one-of-a-kind husband, Jon, our two amazing children, Clara and Carson, and my wonderful loving family and friends!! I love all things creative and artsy, including design, music, dance, art, scrapbooking, you name it!! I decided to commence this blog in order to create a fun and creative on-line journal showcasing the exciting adventurous journey of the Botbyl family, and in order to keep in touch with and hopefully inspire other individuals, like myself who love to share a wonderful life's design consisting of love of family, friends, and creative living!! Please leave me a message/comment if you decide to visit my blog, or add yourself to my list of "followers" so that I can visit your awesome blog or Facebook!! Look extremely forward to hearing from you!! Have an incredibly amazing day!!

Inspiring Vintage Eye Candy!!

The two beautiful photos above are from http://salvagedior.blogspot.com I love how rustic, natural, Parisian, and cottagy these inspiring pictures are!!

Below, you'll see three awesome photos from www.sadieolive.com, a great vintage blog that has been inspiring me for a couple weeks (ever since I found it!) The 1st two pictures are of a vintage nursery, which is adorable, and the last picture is such a warm, inviting, and charming vintage living room decorated for the Holidays!! Love it love it love it!!
Lately, I have really been into (or obsessed with??) cottagy vintage treasures, whenever time for decorating contemplation arises, that is. (It's been an incredibly busy couple of months, that's for sure!!) They are so warm, inviting, architectural, and textural!! I absolutely love when people decorate with rustic garden accents and salvage pieces. It feels aged, interesting, authentic!!
I've been trying to take decorating risks, and am looking for some salvaged wood, shutters, and window frames (I never know what to call them...) and maybe even an old vintage door to add to our happy little decor family!! The three photos above are really cute!! Well, enjoy the rest of your weekend!! Happie Saturday!!
