If Hello Kitty were real...this would be her!!

(WARNING : If you are not a Cat Lover, you WILL think I'm completely insane.)
Good Morning!!!! Happy Monday! Just a quick cute post dedicated to my gorgeous one-of-a-kind Cecelia!! I'm completely convinced that if Hello Kitty were real...she's be something like this...Here's my personal account of a day in the life of my "Hello Kitty", (on a Saturday that is...Who knows what plans she puts into action during the week when Jon and I are working.)

Cece's always extremely chipper when she wakes up and absolutely loves lounging in our home office while I check my e-mail in the morning, then lying in the sink while I take my shower.

She then follows me downstairs and waits patiently while I prepare her breakfast, (which takes all of 20 seconds, assuming she hasn't put kitty chow in her water, which she often does...) She then plays dress-up, helps me with my diy projects, then takes her afternoon nappie.
After taking her little nappie, she's ready for Playtime!!!!
She has a yummy dinner, then after lounging some more, enthusiastically performs her evening beauty routine which includes stretching as you can see.
She then settles down for her evening nap, which occasionally takes place on the floor...but sometimes, under our comforter.
That's our purrr-dy little BooBoo!!!! We love her!!

Magnificent Mother's Day!!

Speaking of Marathon Man, Jon and I, along with wonderful (competitive) Team Artese just walked ran in the annual Brian Anderson 5K at Washington Lake Park this passed Sunday, which was completely awesome, as usual!! We didn't have much of an opportunity to take pictures because it's difficult to carry items on your person while running, but I managed to quickly snap a few before we left the house, without Jon growing extremely impatient, that is.

Afterwards, we took my mom out for Mother's Day Lunch!! On Saturday, the day before, we took my Grandparents out for a lovely mother's day lunch as well!!

Although Cece wasn't able to partake in the fun-filled Mother's Day festivities, she definitely dressed for the occasion, that's for sure!!
Enjoy your wild wonderful weekend!!

to blog...or not to blog...

That is the question!!

As I aimlessly stare at the computer screen, brightness beginning to strain my tired eyes, I think of all the interesting concepts, struggles and challenges I've faced over the last couple of years, all the inspiring creative thoughts, ideas, and randomnesses that have popped into my inquisitive noggin, all the photos I've taken...and I love that I have a cute little space where I can go to share and organize all my thoughts, ideas, photos, experiences, design/decorating ideas, randomness, and all that I find inspiring, creative, awesome, and artistic.

Lately, I haven't had the time or creative state of mind to write something that gives me the feeling that I'm truly sharing my soul and discussing issues that many people can relate to, but as soon as I stumble onto a bit of free time (in about 6 weeks), my Botbylsmile Bloggy will be waiting for me, right where and how I left it.

This started out as a design and decorating blog, but I aspire to make it so much more; It has become...or even evolved into a place where I can go (when I have a second...or an hour, which doesn't occur very often it seems) to completely relax, open up, share my feelings, and just write, which I've always loved doing, as well as a place where I can display all my latest home decorating diy projects and post creative and clever home design and project ideas and crafts. It's become a huge positive part of my life, and a terrific creative outlet. This summer, I'm hoping to blog more, and blog more...creatively...more thoughtfully...more cleverly...and with more photos.

When I was little, and actually up until my high school years, I wrote in journals all the time, and having kept all my old journals and diaries, I can now go back and explore many experiences of my life from my point of view at the time of the experience, which is awesome. Isn't it amazing that with the wonderful technology we have today, (when utilized for positive purposes...) we have access to such a great way to connect with others.

There are a couple...well, more than a couple fantastic blogs that I follow weekly that have deeply inspired me, and it's awesome to be able to read about other people's experiences through their own on-line journals, and see what decorating projects people are working on. It's encouraging to know that others have many of the same experiences, feelings, thoughts, questions, struggles, ideas that I do. There are endless benefits to blogging, and I love it!!

To blog...that is the answer!!

HAPPY BLOGGING!!
