Good Morning!! This is an amazingly awesome day!! Jon & I are completing the last phase of our kitchen renovation consisting of a gorgeous modern stone & glass back splash, which is being carefully installed as we speak!! I've been planning to add a backsplash to our kitchen for a long time, & have been researching & gathering beautiful photos of kitchen back splashes for over a year now, & after much creative contemplation & I-net/blog browsing, we've chosen something so lovely & modern, yet still complimenting the rustic cottage aesthetic I've been hoping to acheive!! I will be posting before & after pictures when it's all finished!! I'm so excited!! Here are a couple photos taken during the Backsplashing process!! I'll display them in chronological order from Top to Bottom.
This is our kitchen before the Back splash!!
Living life one incredible day at a time...

6 Things to Do while you're snowed in!!
For most of us, snow is fun!! For a little while...Then it's a bit limiting!! Don't let snow keep you from staying busy!! Here are 6 things you can do while you're stuck in the house!!
1.) Do Laundry!! There's that dreaded word. Today is the perfect day to come to terms with those gigantic piles of clothes that keep you from opening your closet or laundry room door!!
2.) Organize your closet!! Is your closet busting at the seems with things you haven't worn (or seen) since High school? Now is a great time to donate clothing you no longer have use for!!
3.) Edit your jewelry box!! I don't know about you, but it really bugs me when I need to search around for rubber bands, bobby pins, pony tail holders, nail clippers etc. Why not separate all these items into tiny confined spaces??
4.) Transfer all your beloved belongings into your new purse!! ooh lala!!
5.) Shovel the drive way!! Alright...watch your husband shovel the drive way. (tehe)
6.) Last, but certainly not least - RELAX!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Last night, Christmas Eve, Jon & I went to Jeff & Danielle's, which was absolutely awesome as always!! Our nieces & nephew are so much fun & are totally hilarious!! This morning, the Artese's came over for a nice home cooked breakfast, courtesy of Jon & me, which hopefully doesn't result in a trip to the hospital later in the day!! This afternoon, we're traveling to the Artese's house, all the way on the other side of town, which is about 4 blocks away, & my grandparents will be visiting them as well, to which I'm looking extremely forward!! Well, enjoy your wonderful Holiday everyone!! Merry Christmas!!
