Exciting Living & Dining room makeover!!

This post has definitely been a long time coming, and this room combo has been in progress for about 1 1/2 years, and although there are still a couple of details we'd like to add to the rooms, we are almost finished, and I've been extremely excited to share this transformation with you! The last project we enthusiastically tackled was the flooring, ideas for which Jon's been toying with for a long time. We've been keeping an eye out for flooring ideas and inspiration for a the passed couple of months and finally about 2 weeks ago, we decided to take the plunge and seriously consider taking on this project. I'm just gonna jump into the before pictures because I'm overwhelmingly excited to show everything to you.

Before : (July 2011, when we moved in!! Yes, it's been almost 2 years since we bought this wonderful abode.)
Here are living room photos taken from the foyer, and although it's not quite detectable through the following photos, there was horrendous wallpaper covering the living room and foyer, which luckily came off considerably easily.

And here for the Final Product :

Behind the scenes of our latest project :

Our "To-Do" List for the rooms still consists of adding crown molding in the dining room and beefing up the molding in the living room, molding added to the baseboard around the perimeter of both rooms, possibly curtains in the dining room, which I'm considering making myself...and a couple of additional minor things. Otherwise, I'm extremely thrilled with how the room has turned out so far!!
Hope you enjoyed today's post. Thanks so much for visiting us!!
